But on the next line of code:

Mock() always returns null, so the next line is always going to throw an exception.
You can just do this:
var session = new DatabaseSession();
Mock();
I recommend using var above so that you can still use the object in multiple places without having to create a “mockified” version in between.

Necron Doctrine and Beliefs
The Necrons are the most hostile, xenophobic faction in the 41st millennium.
