Navigate a website using intent (browser) and download a file via ACTION_VIEW
I’m trying to build a application that will download a file from a website. I’m currently using an intent to navigate to that website, but all I am doing is opening a browser and not viewing the website.
How can I navigate the website instead of just opening a new web page? And, how can I download a file from that website?
Here is the code I’m currently using (it gets the webpage from a string, and then displays it on the screen):
